What are Incoterms?
INCOTERMS are a set of three-letter standard trade terms most commonly used in international contracts for the sale of goods. It is essential that you are aware of your terms of trade prior to shipment.
Last revision is “Incoterms 2010”, replacing Incoterms 2000. Latest modifications, effective since January 1st 2011, are mostly related to DEQ, DES, DAF & DDU, and with the introduction of the new Incoterms “D”, DAT (Delivered at Terminal) and DAP (Delivered Duty Paid).
EXW (EX Works)
